Pixel 系列手機一直是 Google 用作展示 Android 系統的舞台，隨著 Pixel 7 和 Pixel 7 Pro 的發表，有網民發現兩款新機成為了全球首批只支援 64-bit 程式的 Android 手機。較舊的 32-bit 程式或遊戲，將會無法安裝到 Pixel 7 系列。

Pixel 7 和 Pixel 7 Pro 內置 Google 自家 Tensor G2 處理器，並預載全新 Android 13 系統，消息指 Tensor G2 本身支援 32-bit ABI，不過 Google 在系統層面落手，於 Pixel 7 系列預載的 Android 13 移除了舊式 ABI 支援，於是兩款新機就無法安裝 32-bit 的程式，只對應 64-bit 程式。32-bit 程式無法安裝
假如用戶有需要使用舊版程式，尤其是自家開發的程式，或者保留著一些經典舊遊戲（例如 Flappy Bird），除非開發者將程式以 64-bit 方式重新編譯，否則還是建議不要使用 Pixel 7 系列手機。
